Self-promo: My article on antigravity “Lifters” in current issue of Wired

It’s made of tinfoil and wire, it has no moving parts — yet when you shove 20,000 volts into a “Lifter”, it levitates and hovers like a UFO. Check out the current issue of Wired, where I wrote a feature about the mystery as to how Lifters fly — which took me all the way to NASA down in Alabama, where scientists are experimenting with this weird new technology. The story is online here, but if you buy the issue of Wired itself, it comes with a funky graphical how-to guide on building your own Lifter!
