I've now got full-text RSS feeds
Hey all -- I've had several requests over the last few months to provide full-text RSS feeds! I was too lazy until now to do it, but I think I've got 'em set up.
I say think because I'm not sure I've set them up correctly for full text. Let me know in the comments below if I've done it right!
We now return you to your regular programming.

Cool. When I look at the raw RSS text, it doesn't seem to include formatting -- i.e. paragraph breaks, indenting, links, etc. Is that showing up in your reader?

It's hard to tell if it's working from such a short post. I did not get the paragraph breaks, which would be a nightmare on really long posts.
That said, I applaud the switch. I love being able to read entire entries in RSS, and I promise I'll still come leave comments when I've got something to add!

your template probably says something like:
[$MTEntryBody remove_html="1" encode_xml="1"$]
get rid of the remove_html="1" part and you should be fine.

Works fine for me - formatted posts in my reader and all. Thanks! This was one of the last feeds I read which didn't offer full-text.

Have you thought about using feedburner, Clive?
I've switched all my feeds over to their service and the control they offer over various aspects of the feeds is really easy and way useful. I do a fair amount of mucking about with the actual code on my blogs (with no real clue what I'm doing most of the time) but whenever I find something that makes it easy to change stuff without having to directly alter the code it makes me really happy. Check 'em out at http://www.feedburner.com.

It looks good to me in my reader. I use Sage (a FireFox RSS feed extension). Thanks Clive.
