Yes, I go by that site -- JayisGames.com -- frequently, and tried to play Gimme Friction ... but embarassingly, I couldn't figure it out. I literally couldn't figure out what the hell I was supposed to be doing!

Clive, about Gimmie Friction, it's so simple it hurts -- well, the hurting part is me not being able to do more than 18 (a friend scored 52).
You just click and the little rotating cannon throws a ball which, when it stops bouncing, grows to takes whatever room is available. When it bounce onto another ball, it decreases its number. When this number reaches zero, it explodes and you score one point. You keep throwing balls until one of them touches (ever soooo lightly) the dotted line on the bottom (no multiple lives here).
I spent hours on it... Good luck :)

Aha! Cool ... I'll check it out.
Bram -- thanks! I figured there was a ludological pedigree here ...

You mean you finished the 33 Bloxorz levels *and* you made a reasonable score at Gimmie Friction?
We want proof :)
I finished Bloxorz, pretty cool game (33rd code: 614955) but I still suck at Gimmie.

That stole my soul for two days Clive. It became clear early on that I was going to finish the game or die trying.
Alas... victory is MINE!

I gotta say, I am always impressed by screenshots of the final credits on a game! I so rarely achieve it ...
gemp, I'm not clicking on that link; I need to get work done this week!

:D
This comes from the man who took 3 hours and a half from me to finish Bloxorz. And innumerable other hours with games, links and stories -- which I hope make me a better person.
If you played the Lemmings in those ancient times, it's exactly the same, to the pixel, but in DHTML. So you don't NEED to play, You can just WATCH for a few MINUTES... (it took another hour and a half of my life but I really enjoyed it).

You'll probably like this PS3 game coming down the pike. Looks like Bloxorz... with an Escher twist.

Have you seen Gimme Friction Baby? One of the simplest Flash games I've seen:
